the ‘out-of-the-blue’ gift of a book (that at first glance appeared to be called ‘i-pornography’) was the enticement to enter into an agreement with someone (someone, incidentally, I have never met) to accept one, randomly chosen, photographic challenge each week…..
the book, actually called the art of i–phoneography (there you see, you too read it wrong!) has a chapter devoted to sparking creativity; we decided to use this as the basis for our ‘journey’, although I for one will be using a big fat fancy DSLR rather than i- or any other phones.
we have agreed that our first challenge (to be completed by and uploaded on 4th September) will be the first one listed, namely be ‘silent in a cemetery’; thereafter we won’t know what we are up against until the start of the next week.
